Why We Built EchoMasters
EchoMasters was created to transform how clinicians and cardiac physiologists learn echocardiography.
In many training environments, echo skills develop slowly and inconsistently — through occasional exposure in busy departments, fragmented teaching, and limited supervised practice.
```As a result, many clinicians struggle to build the confidence needed to use echocardiography effectively in real clinical situations.
```EchoMasters was founded to change that.
Our mission is to provide structured, high-quality echocardiography education that bridges the gap between theory and real-world practice.
Consultant-Led Hands-On Training
Structured practical training in transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography.
Online Learning Pathways
Online programmes designed for progressive, structured skill development.
Case-Based Learning
Clinical cases, reporting logic and practical insights to support real-world decision-making.
Practical Resources
Educational articles, checklists and frontline resources for clinicians learning echo.
Built around one core objective
```Helping clinicians and cardiac physiologists master echocardiography with confidence.
```Our instructors are certified imaging specialists with extensive NHS and international experience. Through structured, hands-on and online training – from foundational TTE to advanced TOE – we bridge the gap between textbook theory and practical application.
We’re building a new generation of confident, capable echo users.

Meet the Founder
EchoMasters was founded by Dr Mohamed Mansour, Consultant Cardiologist and Cardiac Imaging Specialist, with a mission to make high-quality echocardiography education more structured, practical and clinically relevant.
Dr Mohamed Mansour is a Consultant Cardiologist, Cardiac Imaging Specialist, and a FUSIC Heart Mentor & Supervisor working across the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, part of University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.
He leads a fully BSE-accredited echocardiography service, delivering transthoracic echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography, stress echo, and structured training programmes for clinicians working in cardiology, emergency medicine, and critical care.
With over twenty years of clinical and educational experience, Dr Mansour has trained and mentored hundreds of doctors and cardiac sonographers at different stages of their echocardiography journey — from clinicians performing their first focused bedside scans to those pursuing formal accreditation pathways.
Recognising the need for a structured and practical approach to echocardiography training, he founded EchoMasters to help clinicians develop real-world echo skills with clarity, confidence, and clinical judgement.
Today, EchoMasters delivers consultant-led education through hands-on courses, structured online programmes, and clinical learning resources, supporting clinicians to apply echocardiography where it matters most: at the bedside and in real clinical decision-making.
Meet the EchoMasters Faculty
Our teaching team brings together consultant cardiac imaging specialists, expert cardiac physiologists and experienced echo educators with real-world clinical and training experience.
Each programme is designed to be practical, structured and clinically relevant – helping delegates move beyond passive learning into confident image acquisition, interpretation and decision-making.
